Happy Movie Friday! Pixar’s Finding Nemo is returning to theaters this week in 3D! Finding Nemo was originally released back in 2003 and received a 99% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes. For those of you who don’t know how the story goes, it follows the comedic and epic journey of two fish as the father clown fish makes his way to Sydney to find his kidnapped son. I personally think the 3D movie experience is completely useless, but since I love Finding Nemo, I scoured the internet for some amazing alternative movie posters for your eyes to feast on.
The first two below are poster designs from Pixar:
The next two posters come from Arely Murillo of Monterrey, Mexico, who illustrated these posters to capture the most characteristic parts of the movie.
This next poster is a design exercise by Erin FitzPatrick of Waltham, MA.
The last few posters are a more minimalist take on the films, designed by Taylor Denning, Chris Anderson, and Dimas Lipiz.
And that’s it for this week’s Movie Friday!
