United Kingdom-based graphic design student, Charlotte Estelle Littlehales, took it upon herself to create a London 2012 Olympics Stamp Collection: a compilation of 12 first class stamps specifically tailored to to the Olympic games. Largely inspired by the London games infographic she designed, Charlotte has created a collection that is both contemporary and fresh with stylized and playful silhouettes. The style itself is minimalist, but she pays a lot of attention to the color palette and how they mix and flow.
According to Charlotte:
The stamps are visually appealing with a bright, bold colour palette inspired by the London 2012 Olympics. The stamps are collectable and are to be sold during the run-up to the Olympic games.
Now, on to the stamp collection!
I especially love how well she plays with negative space, making use of the negative space to bring life to all of her stamps. There’s an excellent integration of the official London logo into all the pieces. This collection design was so well executed!
Charlotte also created the packaging for the stamp collection, which you can view here.
